A Lovely Villa (and hosts)

The villa proved to be the perfect base for our extended family (10 people). The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and were always friendly and accommodating. Communication with the hosts was always prompt and helpful. Anything from Gluten free restaurants etc. Myself or anyone else in the group would have no hesitation in recommending the villa.

Fantastic villa in Sicily for a family vacation

We had a wonderful time in Villa Carmela. The house was big and we had the ground floor. The first floor was not occupied. For 11 people it was perfect. The youngest in our party was fifteen, but it would have been suitable for younger kids as well. The pool was big and the water quality excellent. The owner was very accomodating. When we asked if there were any more sunbeds available, he went out and provided us with two more so we all had one each by the pool. Since we had rented cars we spent some of our days visiting neighbouring cities close by, like Taormina and Naxos. So I would recommend renting a car to get around. We also had some lazy days by the pool. There were at least one good retaurant in walking distance and not far to a grocery store. All in all we are very happy with our stay and would very much like to come back.

Good Stay in Fiumefreddo

We and our friends, there were nine of us all together, very much enjoyed our stay at Villa Carmela. The house was very roomy and comfortable with plenty of space, both for group activities and alone time. We especially enjoyed the garden and out door space. Morning coffee and afternoon drinks with Mt. Edna in the background was a treat. It was easy to locate the house and the parking was more than ample. It was very convenient for getting to Taormina and the Giardini Naxos beaches. We would highly recommend it.

Great Family Holiday

This was a family holiday - 8 adults, a 3 year old and a baby. The accommodation is very spacious. Each bedroom has its own en suite shower room and large, comfortable bed. The living, dining and kitchen area is open plan, well equipped and comfortable. The garden and pool area is also large with plenty of seating and sun loungers and a large swimming pool. When we arrived there weren’t enough loungers for all of us and 2 were delivered promptly the next morning. Antonio was extremely responsive and efficient. The local area is not at all touristy. We were in the middle of a small authentic Italian town. There were a few small food shops within easy walking distance and a lovely and friendly bar/cafe/restaurant which served wonderful simple food. All in the shadow of Mount Etna. We had a wonderful holiday

Totally recommended!

My family and I stayed at this beautiful villa for a few days during Easter time. It was more than we hoped for and more. Giovanni is a great host and he replied instantly to our requests. He even brought over a long mirror when we requested it. The place was exceptionally clean and brand new and it is full of light. It was just the right place for us. I would totally recommend it!

Stunning Villa - don't hesitate to book!

Great location between Taormina and Catania, close by to the motorway. The Villa itself is stunning, huge. There are 6 bedrooms (each with a full bathroom) equipped with a super comfortable bed. We were welcomed by Giovanni and Davide who were friendly and kind. The villa was sparkling clean and you have every little comfort you may expect from a house. The villa looks much better in reality than on the photos. It is mainly much bigger than what you'd expect and it extremely comfortable when traveling with a large group of friends or family.
