Outstanding location!

It was our third trip to Gello and surely not the last. We enjoyed again the old school house La Scuola and it is a perfect house for two people. The house is on top of Gello with an amazing view. Gives you all the privacy you need to relax.

Mala experiencia

Pernoctamos solamente una noche, el segundo día vimos una rata en un altillo del pasillo que se escondió detrás de un armario. Cuando fuimos a inspeccionar en ese lugar había una trampa para ratones y excrementos desconociendo de qué animal eran. Nos invitaron a cambiarnos de casa pero decidimos irnos y que nos reembolsaran la segunda noche. No fue así, nos reembolsaron solamente una parte. Las condiciones no nos parecieron seguras ni higiénicas cuando pagas por un alojamiento y menos si viajas con un niño. Entendemos que es un alojamiento en el campo pero convivir con (al menos) una rata en el interior no nos parece adecuado. Decepcionante.

Return to an outstanding Location

We have spent again part of our vacation in Gello. This time as couple with our dog and we have choosen La Scuola as property. La Scuola is an outstanding property, which is placed on top of Gello. You have all your privacy you need, a perfect view and a house with all you need. The big sleeping room on the first floor is amazing. The kitchen is well equipped, including a dishwasher. The pool is simple perfect. Well made and with an amazing view.

Beautiful place with excellent setting in. All well set up with good kitchen utensils, however, big part of it was fairly dirty and could have used deep cleaning. House downstairs is much darker than expected and felt a bit damp. Upstairs it was very nice and bed and towels very well taken care off. Personell was there to help but it seemed they where in a bit of a rush to make things in order. The furniture downstairs could use some revision. Beds where excellent. Shower a bit mouldy and overall quite some dust which felt like the house could use some deep cleaning. The tree house was nice, the swimming pool and garden in general offer great potential

Dear Giovanni, We kindly like to share our feedback for our stay at Casa Il Sàrperi in May 2022. First of all thank you so much for opening up this place for external guests. Gello was a real Hideway for us with a stunning view and very private atmosphere. With our little daughter it was a perfect place to explore, crawl and try to walk. We appreciated all the childrens‘ toys that were available and for free. Also a big thank you to Giada. She was a perfect and very professional host. The downside of our stay at Il Sàrperi was the kitchen/living room at ground floor. Yes, we did read on your website that it is supposed to be colder inside the house due to the trees (shadow). Getting there for us it was actually a mixture of coldness/darkness/moisture and musty+burned smell. Therefore we did not feel comfortable in the kitchen/living room at all and every start of the day was somehow blighted. Maybe a proper cleaning of the fireplace/chimney could help. We also feel that we have to mention that the pictures of the kitchen/living room on your website express a way lighter and more friendly room as it felt for us in real. Therefore the pictures are to our mind a bit missleading. We‘d also like to feedback that the WIFI signal is very poor in the upper part of the house. A repeater might be helpful. With the experience and knowledge we would not have booked Il Sàrperi but one of the other houses. Assuming that above mentioned issue does not apply to the other houses, of course. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Case di Gello to friends and family but just not Il Sàrperi. Thank you for having us and all the best for you and the team at Gello. Un luogo che sembra fuori dal mondo; un piccolo paese sulla cima di una collina, case tenute in modo eccellente ed iper fornite; una piscina meravigliosa; accoglienza perfetta da parte di Giada … insomma torneremo si sicuro!

Un luogo speciale

Piccolo borgo in una posizione felicissima tra il mare e l'entroterra, ristrutturato con il massimo rispetto. Un tuffo nel passato che ti fa sentire a casa. Consigliatissimo.

Case di Gello - Right Place To Relax

We have spent our familiy holiday in Case di Gello - 4 adults, our 8month grandchild and our dog. The property is amazing and outstanding! The location is quiet and just 25km away from the nice beaches of Marina di Bibonna or around 60km to Golfo di Baratti. The house offers all you need and is fully equipped.

This was our second stay at Gello, last time was one year ago, the peaceful enviroment, the landscape, the perfectly renovated tiny village, the super equipment of the kitchen, everything very tasteful, the super nice host Giada Cantini, we wish we could live there forever and we will be happy to be able to return hopefully very soon

We had a relaxing time at Casedigello and very much enjoyed the beautiful nature and the peaceful environment.

Il borgo è più che un semplice soggiorno è un’esperienza: il luogo ti accoglie con la sua storia, ti avvolge, incanta, pacifica e ti fa in qualche maniera suo. Torneremo sicuramente per rivivere quella magnifica atmosfera.

Relax totale

Il luogo ideale per rilassarsi e visitare Borghi, meravigliose città Toscane . Anche il mare e facilmente raggiungibile
