Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Balmis, dieses Mal in einem Loft. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Außer einer Spülmaschine war auch die Ausstattung komplett. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Xavi antwortet prompt. Die Fenster der Lofts gehen zur Plaza, die bis in die Nacht gut besucht und entsprechend laut ist. Aber auch das war korrekt angekündigt, sodass wir darauf eingestellt waren.

Golf and sun in Alicante

A beautiful appartment close to absolutely everything. Many nice restaurants very close and easy to park in the parking house. The appartment felt brand new with very high standards. The restaurant and the bar just below has many visitors and it is noicy until late night so bring earplugs if you get disturbed by noice. Easy to access the apartment via a code and a comfortable bed.

Omdat ik alleen verbleef was het meer dan ruim genoeg. Ontzettend genieten van het heerlijke bed, bank en alle luxe. Ik wist dar het gehorig zou zijn en dat klopt. Met een terras eronder heb je tot laat rumoer. Maar ik vond dat wel gezellig. Superschoon en de laatste dag kon ik in de locker mijn trolley nog kwijt. Alles ideaal!

Can't be better

I can't complain about anything. Everything was perfectly ok starting from the reservation and contact. The apartment is very nicely decorated with all what you need. Perfect location next to the Mushroom street.

Close to everything you want in a city

Perfect located "home" for some days in the city. 3rd time we stayed here, but not the last. You'll find all you need here, maybe except beach towels. Nice to actually have space to sit outside! It's tight, but nice with chairs and a table. Downstairs it's a cafe 2 meters to the left and the very nice Bar Manero 2 steps to the right. Hundreds of other bars, cafés and restaurants in walking distance. Same possibilities regarding shopping etc. Supereasy access with online check-in where you get your codes for the doors. Xavi is a responsive host if you have any questions during your stay, nice!

Fantastic Apartment!

We were only in Alicante for a few days with our son as we struggle to take any more time off than that so it was really important for us that we could make the most of the time we had. Balmis Apartments enabled us to do that. The location was brilliant and check-in easy. The apartment was spotless but had everything we could possibly need with little added touches that were really thoughtful. Yes there was a little noise from the square at night but this added to it for me. The restaurant below was fantastic and we were able to have drinks from there and take them up to the apartment if our little boy was sleeping. We were made to feel so welcome. We would definitely stay again.

Das Appartment ist wunderschön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist vorhanden und auch das Schlafsofa ist okay. Kommt man aus der Haustür sind drumherum, fussläufig viele Geschäfte, Bars und Restaurants zu finden. Zum Stadt sind es etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuss.

Deceiving Pictures

I went on vacation to Alicante with my mother and father. We were quite looking forward to staying at Balmis Plaza Apartment as the pictures on the website made it look beautiful with space and comfort. The pictures were deceiving. The apartment does not have space. It is roughly forty three square metres (google this : small). The apartment is advertised as a three bed. It isn't. The third bed is a very uncomfortable fold out sofa. I had to walk into my parents room at night to use the bathroom. The air conditioner didn't work, but I didn't contact the host as the temperature in the apartment was nice at night and I'm sure the host would have dealt with the issue if I had highlighted it. The apartment was immaculately clean. The location is ideal

We arrived in Alicante in the middle of March and the place we stayed in (Balmis Plaza) was a good choice. The apartment was, i would say higher standard one, very clean and well equipped. We had the apartment on the 3rd floor with 4 balconies, yessss 4! ...with nice old fashioned windows what with modern interior looked awsome. Location was very good as it was really close to everywhere...beach, restaurants, bars, places for sightseeing. So nice place for a weekend stay as well as for much longer like a week or even two. In case of any questions you could always contact with the host - Xavi , who quickly replied and always provided full information. We highly recommend Balmis Plaza as a very nice place to stay in Alicante.

Nice and clean flat with all the necessities you need. We cooked breakfast each morning, dinner one night and this is doable. The flat is clean and well furnished, nice bathroom and lovely balkony. Xavi was very nice and helpful with a fast reply to all my questions. thank you for that !

The apartment is lovely and so beautiful. Really modern and well built, the structure of the room made it feel really homely and had loads of openings so had lots of fresh air and sun. Everything was provided even including washing pods incase. The apartment was very clean and was great overall.

After a late arrival the apartment was very welcoming just as we had hoped - well furnished loved the quotes on the walls in Spanish & English - actually took photos of them as a reminder of our stay . Prior to holiday good communication with Xavi door entry code very useful - spotless from front entry all through the apartment - good size rooms - wonderful large walk in shower - air conditioning easy to use & very effective - cold beer in the fridge a nice touch basic coffee water also . We loved the local feel the buzz from the cafe bar outside the entrance , the lovely little square & the location , location , location access to everywhere , harbour front - beach - city centre - bars restaurants- tram system to Benidorm & San Juan couldn’t fault . Alicante is a beautiful city full of life - Balmis apartments gives you a lovely Spanish local feel to your stay .

This was a huge, beautiful apartment with everything you could ever want from a self catering apartment. Loads of modern features too numerous to mention and wonderful, quiet air conditioning. I have stayed in a couple of brilliant hotels in my time but I will probably never stay in such a wonderful apartment ever again unless I come back to Balmis Plaza.

Spacious, high quality apartment in an exceptionally good location to visit Alicante that is in a quiet traffic free location. The major shopping street, restaurants and attractions within the centre are barely five minutes walking distance. The beach and lift entrance 10 minutes away. Good modern security, excellent wifi and a lift/elevator to all floors add to both comfort and ease of your stay. The owner has been extremely thoughtful in providing extra facilities/convenience for guests such as left luggage and a late check out that adds to your enjoyment.

Perfect for a family with one or two young kids

The place is very well located, clean and with great conditioning, very clean. The double bed and double folding sofa are on the small side and were not very suitable for us as family with 2 grown kids, one of them a teenager. For a family with younger kids would do.

Amazing short stay

We were delighted to find such a lovely apartment in the centre of the City so near the beach, transport links and shops. Made the 4 day stay seem much longer. The apartment was very comfortable and clean and well equipped. We particularly liked the fact we did not have to carry a key or a card to gain access to the property, just enter the code given before we arrived. 10/10 to Xavi for attention to detail as a host.

Creo que nunca había estado en un apartamento con tanta cosa buena. Las instalaciones perfectas, sofá-cama y cama cómodos, lavavajillas, patio y por si fuera poco muy cerca de todo. Si volvemos a Alicante no dudaremos en repetir. La comunicación con Xavi perfecta también y la comodidad de no andar con llaves una gozada.

Estupendo apartamento en inmejorable ubicación, detallazo de Xavi al llegar con esa botella de agua y esas 2 cervecitas fresquitas con abre fácil.

De lo mejor de Alicante

Para visitar Alicante es el sitio ideal. Si vuelvo a la ciudad me alojaré de nuevo en el “Balmis”.Salimos andando hasta el puerto que está al lado y cogimos el barco hasta Tabarca. A la playa también andando y a la zona de tiendas. y restaurantes. Muy completo, la verdad.

Beautiful and stylish apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, it also had the dishwasher, washing machine, iron, ironing board etc Lovely high ceiling, makes it look and feel bigger. Perfect location, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and coffee shops, tram station. We had no issues during our stay. Xavi is a great host, very responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend the apartment and would definitely come back.

The apartment is located very centrally in Alicante. It was beautiful and very clean. Airconditioning functioned perfectly. Our host was easy to reach and everything went smoothly. Thank you.

The apartament is recently renovated and is very nice. It is close to the City center and to go to the beach go through Esplanada d'Espanya as a bonus

Apartamento nuevo, cómodo, práctico, muy bien situado, acogedor. Perfecto para tus días de relax, puedes ir andando a lavplaya, de tiendas, de restaurantes, al lado de un parking por sino quieres mover el coche y conocer la ciudad de Alicante. Muy recomendable
